ٱقْتَرَبَتِ

وَٱنشَقَّ

ٱلْقَمَرُ

the moon
﴾1﴿
وَإِن
wa-in
And if
يَرَوْا۟
yaraw
they see
ءَايَةًۭ
āyatan
a Sign
يُعْرِضُوا۟
yuʿ'riḍū
they turn away
وَيَقُولُوا۟
wayaqūlū
and say
سِحْرٌۭ
siḥ'run
Magic
مُّسْتَمِرٌّۭ
mus'tamirrun
continuing
﴾2﴿
وَكَذَّبُوا۟
wakadhabū
And they denied
وَٱتَّبَعُوٓا۟
wa-ittabaʿū
and followed
أَهْوَآءَهُمْ ۚ
ahwāahum
their desires
وَكُلُّ
wakullu
but (for) every
أَمْرٍۢ
amrin
matter
مُّسْتَقِرٌّۭ
mus'taqirrun
(will be a) settlement
﴾3﴿
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
جَآءَهُم
jāahum
has come to them
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلْأَنۢبَآءِ
l-anbāi
the information
مَا
mā
wherein
فِيهِ
fīhi
wherein
مُزْدَجَرٌ
muz'dajarun
(is) deterrence
﴾4﴿
حِكْمَةٌۢ
ḥik'matun
Wisdom
بَـٰلِغَةٌۭ ۖ
bālighatun
perfect
فَمَا
famā
but not
تُغْنِ
tugh'ni
will avail
ٱلنُّذُرُ
l-nudhuru
the warnings
﴾5﴿
فَتَوَلَّ
fatawalla
So turn away
عَنْهُمْ ۘ
ʿanhum
from them
يَوْمَ
yawma
(The) Day
يَدْعُ
yadʿu
will call
ٱلدَّاعِ
l-dāʿi
the caller
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
a thing
نُّكُرٍ
nukurin
terrible
﴾6﴿
