وَٱلنَّجْمِ

وَحْىٌۭ
waḥyun
a revelation
يُوحَىٰ
yūḥā
revealed
﴾4﴿
عَلَّمَهُۥ
ʿallamahu
Has taught him
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu
the (one) mighty
ٱلْقُوَىٰ
l-quwā
(in) power
﴾5﴿
ذُو
dhū
Possessor of soundness
مِرَّةٍۢ
mirratin
Possessor of soundness
فَٱسْتَوَىٰ
fa-is'tawā
And he rose
﴾6﴿
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
While he
بِٱلْأُفُقِ
bil-ufuqi
(was) in the horizon
ٱلْأَعْلَىٰ
l-aʿlā
the highest
﴾7﴿
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
دَنَا
danā
he approached
فَتَدَلَّىٰ
fatadallā
and came down
﴾8﴿
فَكَانَ
fakāna
And was
قَابَ
qāba
(at) a distance
قَوْسَيْنِ
qawsayni
(of) two bow-(lengths)
أَوْ
aw
or
أَدْنَىٰ
adnā
nearer
﴾9﴿
