Then he went
إِلَىٰٓ

أَهْلِهِۦ

his household
فَجَآءَ
fajāa
and came
بِعِجْلٍۢ
biʿij'lin
with a calf
سَمِينٍۢ
samīnin
fat
﴾26﴿
فَقَرَّبَهُۥٓ
faqarrabahu
And he placed it near
إِلَيْهِمْ
ilayhim
[to] them
قَالَ
qāla
he said
أَلَا
alā
Will not
تَأْكُلُونَ
takulūna
you eat
﴾27﴿
فَأَوْجَسَ
fa-awjasa
Then he felt
مِنْهُمْ
min'hum
from them
خِيفَةًۭ ۖ
khīfatan
a fear
قَالُوا۟
qālū
They said
لَا
lā
(Do) not
تَخَفْ ۖ
takhaf
fear
وَبَشَّرُوهُ
wabasharūhu
and they gave him glad tidings
بِغُلَـٰمٍ
bighulāmin
of a son
عَلِيمٍۢ
ʿalīmin
learned
﴾28﴿
فَأَقْبَلَتِ
fa-aqbalati
Then came forward
ٱمْرَأَتُهُۥ
im'ra-atuhu
his wife
فِى
fī
with
صَرَّةٍۢ
ṣarratin
a loud voice
فَصَكَّتْ
faṣakkat
and struck
وَجْهَهَا
wajhahā
her face
وَقَالَتْ
waqālat
and she said
عَجُوزٌ
ʿajūzun
An old woman
عَقِيمٌۭ
ʿaqīmun
barren
﴾29﴿
