وَٱلْقُرْءَانِ
wal-qur'āni
By the Quran
ٱلْمَجِيدِ
l-majīdi

﴾1﴿
بَلْ

Nay
عَجِبُوٓا۟
ʿajibū
they wonder
أَن
an
that
جَآءَهُم
jāahum
has come to them
مُّنذِرٌۭ
mundhirun
a warner
مِّنْهُمْ
min'hum
from them
فَقَالَ
faqāla
So say
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This
شَىْءٌ
shayon
(is) a thing
عَجِيبٌ
ʿajībun
amazing
﴾2﴿
أَءِذَا
a-idhā
What! When
مِتْنَا
mit'nā
we die
وَكُنَّا
wakunnā
and have become
تُرَابًۭا ۖ
turāban
dust
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
رَجْعٌۢ
rajʿun
(is) a return
بَعِيدٌۭ
baʿīdun
far
﴾3﴿
قَدْ
qad
Certainly
عَلِمْنَا
ʿalim'nā
We know
مَا
mā
what
تَنقُصُ
tanquṣu
diminishes
ٱلْأَرْضُ
l-arḍu
the earth
مِنْهُمْ ۖ
min'hum
of them
وَعِندَنَا
waʿindanā
and with Us
كِتَـٰبٌ
kitābun
(is) a Book
حَفِيظٌۢ
ḥafīẓun
guarded
﴾4﴿
بَلْ
bal
Nay
كَذَّبُوا۟
kadhabū
they denied
بِٱلْحَقِّ
bil-ḥaqi
the truth
لَمَّا
lammā
when
جَآءَهُمْ
jāahum
it came (to) them
فَهُمْ
fahum
so they
فِىٓ
fī
(are) in
أَمْرٍۢ
amrin
a state
مَّرِيجٍ
marījin
confused
﴾5﴿
