وَأُبَلِّغُكُم
wa-uballighukum
and I convey to you

أُرْسِلْتُ
ur'sil'tu
I am sent
بِهِۦ
bihi
with it
وَلَـٰكِنِّىٓ
walākinnī
but
أَرَىٰكُمْ
arākum
I see you
قَوْمًۭا
qawman
a people
تَجْهَلُونَ
tajhalūna
ignorant
﴾23﴿
فَلَمَّا
falammā
Then when
رَأَوْهُ
ra-awhu
they saw it
عَارِضًۭا
ʿāriḍan
(as) a cloud
مُّسْتَقْبِلَ
mus'taqbila
approaching
أَوْدِيَتِهِمْ
awdiyatihim
their valleys
قَالُوا۟
qālū
they said
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This
عَارِضٌۭ
ʿāriḍun
(is) a cloud
مُّمْطِرُنَا ۚ
mum'ṭirunā
bringing us rain
بَلْ
bal
Nay
هُوَ
huwa
it
مَا
mā
(is) what
ٱسْتَعْجَلْتُم
is'taʿjaltum
you were asking it to be hastened
بِهِۦ ۖ
bihi
you were asking it to be hastened
رِيحٌۭ
rīḥun
a wind
فِيهَا
fīhā
in it
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ
alīmun
painful
﴾24﴿
تُدَمِّرُ
tudammiru
Destroying
كُلَّ
kulla
every
شَىْءٍۭ
shayin
thing
بِأَمْرِ
bi-amri
by (the) command
رَبِّهَا
rabbihā
(of) its Lord
فَأَصْبَحُوا۟
fa-aṣbaḥū
Then they became (such)
لَا
lā
not
يُرَىٰٓ
yurā
is seen
إِلَّا
illā
except
مَسَـٰكِنُهُمْ ۚ
masākinuhum
their dwellings
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
نَجْزِى
najzī
We recompense
ٱلْقَوْمَ
l-qawma
the people
ٱلْمُجْرِمِينَ
l-muj'rimīna
[the] criminals
﴾25﴿
