كَمْ

How many
تَرَكُوا۟
tarakū
(did) they leave
مِن
min
of
جَنَّـٰتٍۢ
jannātin
gardens
وَعُيُونٍۢ
waʿuyūnin
and springs
25﴿
وَزُرُوعٍۢ
wazurūʿin
And cornfields
وَمَقَامٍۢ
wamaqāmin
and places
كَرِيمٍۢ
karīmin
noble
26﴿
وَنَعْمَةٍۢ
wanaʿmatin
And pleasant things
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used to
فِيهَا
fīhā
therein
فَـٰكِهِينَ
fākihīna
take delight
27﴿
كَذَٰلِكَ ۖ
kadhālika
Thus
وَأَوْرَثْنَـٰهَا
wa-awrathnāhā
And We made it (an) inherit(ance)
قَوْمًا
qawman
(for) a people
ءَاخَرِينَ
ākharīna
another
28﴿
فَمَا
famā
And not
بَكَتْ
bakat
wept
عَلَيْهِمُ
ʿalayhimu
for them
ٱلسَّمَآءُ
l-samāu
the heaven
وَٱلْأَرْضُ
wal-arḍu
and the earth
وَمَا
wamā
and not
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they were
مُنظَرِينَ
munẓarīna
given respite
29﴿
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
نَجَّيْنَا
najjaynā
We saved
بَنِىٓ
banī
(the) Children of Israel
إِسْرَٰٓءِيلَ
is'rāīla
(the) Children of Israel
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلْعَذَابِ
l-ʿadhābi
the punishment
ٱلْمُهِينِ
l-muhīni
the humiliating
30﴿
مِن
min
From
فِرْعَوْنَ ۚ
fir'ʿawna
Firaun
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, he
كَانَ
kāna
was
عَالِيًۭا
ʿāliyan
arrogant
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلْمُسْرِفِينَ
l-mus'rifīna
the transgressors
