وَضَلَّ

لَّا
lā
(Does) not
يَسْـَٔمُ
yasamu
get tired
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
l-insānu
man
مِن
min
of
دُعَآءِ
duʿāi
praying
ٱلْخَيْرِ
l-khayri
(for) the good
وَإِن
wa-in
but if
مَّسَّهُ
massahu
touches him
ٱلشَّرُّ
l-sharu
the evil
فَيَـُٔوسٌۭ
fayaūsun
then he gives up hope
قَنُوطٌۭ
qanūṭun
(and) despairs
﴾49﴿
وَلَئِنْ
wala-in
And verily, if
أَذَقْنَـٰهُ
adhaqnāhu
We let him taste
رَحْمَةًۭ
raḥmatan
mercy
مِّنَّا
minnā
from Us
مِنۢ
min
after
بَعْدِ
baʿdi
after
ضَرَّآءَ
ḍarrāa
an adversity
مَسَّتْهُ
massathu
(has) touched him
لَيَقُولَنَّ
layaqūlanna
he will surely say
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This (is)
لِى
lī
(due) to me
وَمَآ
wamā
and not
أَظُنُّ
aẓunnu
I think
ٱلسَّاعَةَ
l-sāʿata
the Hour
قَآئِمَةًۭ
qāimatan
(will be) established
وَلَئِن
wala-in
and if
رُّجِعْتُ
rujiʿ'tu
I am returned
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
رَبِّىٓ
rabbī
my Lord
إِنَّ
inna
indeed
لِى
lī
for me
عِندَهُۥ
ʿindahu
with Him
لَلْحُسْنَىٰ ۚ
lalḥus'nā
(will be) the best
فَلَنُنَبِّئَنَّ
falanunabbi-anna
But We will surely inform
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
بِمَا
bimā
about what
عَمِلُوا۟
ʿamilū
they did
وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم
walanudhīqannahum
and We will surely make them taste
مِّنْ
min
of
عَذَابٍ
ʿadhābin
a punishment
غَلِيظٍۢ
ghalīẓin
severe
﴾50﴿
