ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika

بِأَنَّهُمْ

رُسُلُهُم

their Messengers
بِٱلْبَيِّنَـٰتِ

فَكَفَرُوا۟

but they disbelieved
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
fa-akhadhahumu
So Allah seized them
ٱللَّهُ ۚ
l-lahu
So Allah seized them
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, He
قَوِىٌّۭ
qawiyyun
(is) All-Strong
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu
severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi
(in) punishment
﴾22﴿
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
أَرْسَلْنَا
arsalnā
We sent
مُوسَىٰ
mūsā
Musa
بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا
biāyātinā
with Our Signs
وَسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ
wasul'ṭānin
and an authority
مُّبِينٍ
mubīnin
clear
﴾23﴿
إِلَىٰ
ilā
To
فِرْعَوْنَ
fir'ʿawna
Firaun
وَهَـٰمَـٰنَ
wahāmāna
Haman
وَقَـٰرُونَ
waqārūna
and Qarun
فَقَالُوا۟
faqālū
but they said
سَـٰحِرٌۭ
sāḥirun
A magician
كَذَّابٌۭ
kadhābun
a liar
﴾24﴿
فَلَمَّا
falammā
Then when
جَآءَهُم
jāahum
he brought to them
بِٱلْحَقِّ
bil-ḥaqi
the truth
مِنْ
min
from
عِندِنَا
ʿindinā
Us
قَالُوا۟
qālū
they said
ٱقْتُلُوٓا۟
uq'tulū
Kill
أَبْنَآءَ
abnāa
(the) sons
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those who
ءَامَنُوا۟
āmanū
believe
مَعَهُۥ
maʿahu
with him
وَٱسْتَحْيُوا۟
wa-is'taḥyū
and let live
نِسَآءَهُمْ ۚ
nisāahum
their women
وَمَا
wamā
And not
كَيْدُ
kaydu
(is the) plot
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna
(of) the disbelievers
إِلَّا
illā
but
فِى
fī
in
ضَلَـٰلٍۢ
ḍalālin
error
﴾25﴿
