ٱلْمَوْتَ
l-mawta
the death
وَيُرْسِلُ
wayur'silu
and sends
ٱلْأُخْرَىٰٓ
l-ukh'rā
the others
إِلَىٰٓ
ilā
for
أَجَلٍۢ
ajalin
a term
مُّسَمًّى ۚ
musamman
specified
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَـٰتٍۢ
laāyātin
surely (are) signs
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَتَفَكَّرُونَ
yatafakkarūna
who ponder
﴾42﴿
أَمِ
ami
Or
ٱتَّخَذُوا۟
ittakhadhū
have they taken
مِن
min
besides
دُونِ
dūni
besides
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
شُفَعَآءَ ۚ
shufaʿāa
intercessors
قُلْ
qul
Say
أَوَلَوْ
awalaw
Even though
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they were
لَا
lā
not
يَمْلِكُونَ
yamlikūna
possessing
شَيْـًۭٔا
shayan
anything
وَلَا
walā
and not
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūna
they understand
﴾43﴿
