We destroyed

before them
قَبْلِهِم
qablihim
before them
مِّن
min
of
قَرْنٍۢ
qarnin
a generation
فَنَادَوا۟
fanādaw
then they called out
وَّلَاتَ
walāta
when there (was) no longer
حِينَ
ḥīna
time
مَنَاصٍۢ
manāṣin
(for) escape
﴾3﴿
وَعَجِبُوٓا۟
waʿajibū
And they wonder
أَن
an
that
جَآءَهُم
jāahum
has come to them
مُّنذِرٌۭ
mundhirun
a warner
مِّنْهُمْ ۖ
min'hum
from themselves
وَقَالَ
waqāla
And said
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This
سَـٰحِرٌۭ
sāḥirun
(is) a magician
كَذَّابٌ
kadhābun
a liar
﴾4﴿
