ٱلْخَطْفَةَ

(by) theft
فَأَتْبَعَهُۥ
fa-atbaʿahu
but follows him
شِهَابٌۭ
shihābun
a burning flame
ثَاقِبٌۭ
thāqibun
piercing
﴾10﴿
فَٱسْتَفْتِهِمْ
fa-is'taftihim
Then ask them
أَهُمْ
ahum
Are they
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
a stronger
خَلْقًا
khalqan
creation
أَم
am
or
مَّنْ
man
(those) whom
خَلَقْنَآ ۚ
khalaqnā
We have created
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, We
خَلَقْنَـٰهُم
khalaqnāhum
created them
مِّن
min
from
طِينٍۢ
ṭīnin
a clay
لَّازِبٍۭ
lāzibin
sticky
﴾11﴿
بَلْ
bal
Nay
عَجِبْتَ
ʿajib'ta
you wonder
وَيَسْخَرُونَ
wayaskharūna
while they mock
﴾12﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ذُكِّرُوا۟
dhukkirū
they are reminded
لَا
lā
not
يَذْكُرُونَ
yadhkurūna
they receive admonition
﴾13﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
رَأَوْا۟
ra-aw
they see
ءَايَةًۭ
āyatan
a Sign
يَسْتَسْخِرُونَ
yastaskhirūna
they mock
﴾14﴿
