in
ٱلسَّمَـٰوَٰتِ
l-samāwāti
the heavens
أَمْ
am
Or
ءَاتَيْنَـٰهُمْ
ātaynāhum
have We given them
كِتَـٰبًۭا
kitāban
a Book
فَهُمْ
fahum
so they
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
(are) on
بَيِّنَتٍۢ
bayyinatin
a clear proof
مِّنْهُ ۚ
min'hu
therefrom
بَلْ
bal
Nay
إِن
in
not
يَعِدُ
yaʿidu
promise
ٱلظَّـٰلِمُونَ
l-ẓālimūna
the wrongdoers
بَعْضُهُم
baʿḍuhum
some of them
بَعْضًا
baʿḍan
(to) others
إِلَّا
illā
except
غُرُورًا
ghurūran
delusion
﴾40﴿
