﴾1﴿
أَحَسِبَ
aḥasiba
Do think
ٱلنَّاسُ
l-nāsu
the people
أَن

يُتْرَكُوٓا۟
yut'rakū
they will be left
أَن
an
because
يَقُولُوٓا۟
yaqūlū
they say
ءَامَنَّا
āmannā
We believe
وَهُمْ
wahum
and they
لَا
lā
will not be tested
يُفْتَنُونَ
yuf'tanūna
will not be tested
﴾2﴿
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And indeed
فَتَنَّا
fatannā
We tested
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
مِن
min
(were) before them
قَبْلِهِمْ ۖ
qablihim
(were) before them
فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ
falayaʿlamanna
And Allah will surely make evident
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
And Allah will surely make evident
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
صَدَقُوا۟
ṣadaqū
(are) truthful
وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ
walayaʿlamanna
and He will surely make evident
ٱلْكَـٰذِبِينَ
l-kādhibīna
the liars
﴾3﴿
أَمْ
am
Or
حَسِبَ
ḥasiba
think
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَعْمَلُونَ
yaʿmalūna
do
ٱلسَّيِّـَٔاتِ
l-sayiāti
evil deeds
أَن
an
that
يَسْبِقُونَا ۚ
yasbiqūnā
they can outrun Us
سَآءَ
sāa
Evil is
مَا
mā
what
يَحْكُمُونَ
yaḥkumūna
they judge
﴾4﴿
