ٱلْقَرْيَةِ

رِجْزًۭا

a punishment
مِّنَ

from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāi
(the) sky
بِمَا
bimā
because
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they have been
يَفْسُقُونَ
yafsuqūna
defiantly disobedient
﴾34﴿
وَلَقَد
walaqad
And verily
تَّرَكْنَا
taraknā
We have left
مِنْهَآ
min'hā
about it
ءَايَةًۢ
āyatan
a sign
بَيِّنَةًۭ
bayyinatan
(as) evidence
لِّقَوْمٍۢ
liqawmin
for a people
يَعْقِلُونَ
yaʿqilūna
who use reason
﴾35﴿
وَإِلَىٰ
wa-ilā
And to
مَدْيَنَ
madyana
Madyan
أَخَاهُمْ
akhāhum
their brother
شُعَيْبًۭا
shuʿayban
Shuaib
فَقَالَ
faqāla
And he said
يَـٰقَوْمِ
yāqawmi
O my people
ٱعْبُدُوا۟
uʿ'budū
Worship
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَٱرْجُوا۟
wa-ir'jū
and expect
ٱلْيَوْمَ
l-yawma
the Day
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَ
l-ākhira
the Last
وَلَا
walā
and (do) not
تَعْثَوْا۟
taʿthaw
commit evil
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
مُفْسِدِينَ
muf'sidīna
(as) corrupters
﴾36﴿
