لَأَا۟ذْبَحَنَّهُۥٓ
laādh'baḥannahu
I will surely slaughter him

unless
لَيَأْتِيَنِّى
layatiyannī
he brings me
بِسُلْطَـٰنٍۢ
bisul'ṭānin
a reason
مُّبِينٍۢ
mubīnin
clear
﴾21﴿
فَمَكَثَ
famakatha
So he stayed
غَيْرَ
ghayra
not
بَعِيدٍۢ
baʿīdin
long
فَقَالَ
faqāla
and he said
أَحَطتُ
aḥaṭtu
I have encompassed
بِمَا
bimā
that which
لَمْ
lam
not
تُحِطْ
tuḥiṭ
you have encompassed
بِهِۦ
bihi
it
وَجِئْتُكَ
waji'tuka
and I have come to you
مِن
min
from
سَبَإٍۭ
saba-in
Saba
بِنَبَإٍۢ
binaba-in
with news
يَقِينٍ
yaqīnin
certain
﴾22﴿
إِنِّى
innī
Indeed, I
وَجَدتُّ
wajadttu
found
ٱمْرَأَةًۭ
im'ra-atan
a woman
تَمْلِكُهُمْ
tamlikuhum
ruling them
وَأُوتِيَتْ
waūtiyat
and she has been given
مِن
min
of
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
وَلَهَا
walahā
and for her
عَرْشٌ
ʿarshun
(is) a throne
عَظِيمٌۭ
ʿaẓīmun
great
﴾23﴿
