tamurūna
(do) you advise
﴾35﴿
قَالُوٓا۟
qālū
They said
أَرْجِهْ
arjih
Postpone him
وَأَخَاهُ
wa-akhāhu
and his brother
وَٱبْعَثْ
wa-ib'ʿath
and send
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْمَدَآئِنِ
l-madāini
the cities
حَـٰشِرِينَ
ḥāshirīna
gatherers
﴾36﴿
يَأْتُوكَ
yatūka
They (will) bring to you
بِكُلِّ
bikulli
every
سَحَّارٍ
saḥḥārin
magician
عَلِيمٍۢ
ʿalīmin
learned
﴾37﴿
فَجُمِعَ
fajumiʿa
So were assembled
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
l-saḥaratu
the magicians
لِمِيقَـٰتِ
limīqāti
for (the) appointment
يَوْمٍۢ
yawmin
(on) a day
مَّعْلُومٍۢ
maʿlūmin
well-known
﴾38﴿
وَقِيلَ
waqīla
And it was said
لِلنَّاسِ
lilnnāsi
to the people
هَلْ
hal
Will
أَنتُم
antum
you
مُّجْتَمِعُونَ
muj'tamiʿūna
assemble
﴾39﴿
