فَأَلْقَوْا۟

So they threw
حِبَالَهُمْ

وَعِصِيَّهُمْ

and their staffs
وَقَالُوا۟

and said
بِعِزَّةِ
biʿizzati
By the might
فِرْعَوْنَ

إِنَّا

indeed, we
لَنَحْنُ
lanaḥnu
surely, we
ٱلْغَـٰلِبُونَ
l-ghālibūna
(are) the victorious
﴾44﴿
فَأَلْقَىٰ
fa-alqā
Then threw
مُوسَىٰ
mūsā
Musa
عَصَاهُ
ʿaṣāhu
his staff
فَإِذَا
fa-idhā
and behold
هِىَ
hiya
It
تَلْقَفُ
talqafu
swallowed
مَا
mā
what
يَأْفِكُونَ
yafikūna
they falsified
﴾45﴿
فَأُلْقِىَ
fa-ul'qiya
Then fell down
ٱلسَّحَرَةُ
l-saḥaratu
the magicians
سَـٰجِدِينَ
sājidīna
prostrate
﴾46﴿
قَالُوٓا۟
qālū
They said
ءَامَنَّا
āmannā
We believe
بِرَبِّ
birabbi
in (the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
﴾47﴿
رَبِّ
rabbi
Lord
مُوسَىٰ
mūsā
(of) Musa
وَهَـٰرُونَ
wahārūna
and Harun
﴾48﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He said
ءَامَنتُمْ
āmantum
You believed
لَهُۥ
lahu
in him
قَبْلَ
qabla
before
أَنْ
an
[that]
ءَاذَنَ
ādhana
I gave permission
لَكُمْ ۖ
lakum
to you
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, he
لَكَبِيرُكُمُ
lakabīrukumu
(is) surely your chief
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
who
عَلَّمَكُمُ
ʿallamakumu
has taught you
ٱلسِّحْرَ
l-siḥ'ra
the magic
فَلَسَوْفَ
falasawfa
so surely soon
تَعْلَمُونَ ۚ
taʿlamūna
you will know
لَأُقَطِّعَنَّ
la-uqaṭṭiʿanna
I will surely cut off
أَيْدِيَكُمْ
aydiyakum
your hands
وَأَرْجُلَكُم
wa-arjulakum
and your feet
مِّنْ
min
of
خِلَـٰفٍۢ
khilāfin
opposite sides
وَلَأُصَلِّبَنَّكُمْ
wala-uṣallibannakum
and I will surely crucify you
أَجْمَعِينَ
ajmaʿīna
all
﴾49﴿
