وَجَدْنَآ
wajadnā
but we found
ءَابَآءَنَا

our forefathers
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
like that
يَفْعَلُونَ
yafʿalūna
doing
﴾74﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He said
أَفَرَءَيْتُم
afara-aytum
Do you see
مَّا
mā
what
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you have been
تَعْبُدُونَ
taʿbudūna
worshipping
﴾75﴿
أَنتُمْ
antum
You
وَءَابَآؤُكُمُ
waābāukumu
and your forefathers
ٱلْأَقْدَمُونَ
l-aqdamūna
and your forefathers
﴾76﴿
فَإِنَّهُمْ
fa-innahum
Indeed, they
عَدُوٌّۭ
ʿaduwwun
(are) enemies
لِّىٓ
lī
to me
إِلَّا
illā
except
رَبَّ
rabba
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَـٰلَمِينَ
l-ʿālamīna
(of) the worlds
﴾77﴿
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
The One Who
خَلَقَنِى
khalaqanī
created me
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
and He
يَهْدِينِ
yahdīni
guides me
﴾78﴿
وَٱلَّذِى
wa-alladhī
And the One Who
هُوَ
huwa
[He]
يُطْعِمُنِى
yuṭ'ʿimunī
gives me food
وَيَسْقِينِ
wayasqīni
and gives me drink
﴾79﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
مَرِضْتُ
mariḍ'tu
I am ill
فَهُوَ
fahuwa
then He
يَشْفِينِ
yashfīni
cures me
﴾80﴿
