وَمَا

نَحْنُ
naḥnu
we
بِمُعَذَّبِينَ
bimuʿadhabīna
(are) the ones to be punished
﴾138﴿
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
fakadhabūhu
So they denied him
فَأَهْلَكْنَـٰهُمْ ۗ
fa-ahlaknāhum
then We destroyed them
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
فِى
fī
in
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
that
لَـَٔايَةًۭ ۖ
laāyatan
surely, is a sign
وَمَا
wamā
but not
كَانَ
kāna
are
أَكْثَرُهُم
aktharuhum
most of them
مُّؤْمِنِينَ
mu'minīna
believers
﴾139﴿
وَإِنَّ
wa-inna
And indeed
رَبَّكَ
rabbaka
your Lord
لَهُوَ
lahuwa
surely, He
ٱلْعَزِيزُ
l-ʿazīzu
(is) the All-Mighty
ٱلرَّحِيمُ
l-raḥīmu
the Most Merciful
﴾140﴿
كَذَّبَتْ
kadhabat
Denied
ثَمُودُ
thamūdu
Thamud
ٱلْمُرْسَلِينَ
l-mur'salīna
the Messengers
﴾141﴿
إِذْ
idh
When
قَالَ
qāla
said
لَهُمْ
lahum
to them
أَخُوهُمْ
akhūhum
their brother
صَـٰلِحٌ
ṣāliḥun
Salih
أَلَا
alā
Will not
تَتَّقُونَ
tattaqūna
you fear (Allah)
﴾142﴿
إِنِّى
innī
Indeed, I am
لَكُمْ
lakum
to you
رَسُولٌ
rasūlun
a Messenger
أَمِينٌۭ
amīnun
trustworthy
﴾143﴿
