ٱلشَّمْسَ
l-shamsa
the sun
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
for it
دَلِيلًۭا
dalīlan
an indication
﴾45﴿
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
قَبَضْنَـٰهُ
qabaḍnāhu
We withdraw it
إِلَيْنَا
ilaynā
to Us
قَبْضًۭا
qabḍan
a withdrawal
يَسِيرًۭا
yasīran
gradual
﴾46﴿
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
(is) the One Who
جَعَلَ
jaʿala
made
لَكُمُ
lakumu
for you
ٱلَّيْلَ
al-layla
the night
لِبَاسًۭا
libāsan
(as) a covering
وَٱلنَّوْمَ
wal-nawma
and the sleep
سُبَاتًۭا
subātan
a rest
وَجَعَلَ
wajaʿala
and made
ٱلنَّهَارَ
l-nahāra
the day
نُشُورًۭا
nushūran
a resurrection
﴾47﴿
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
And He
ٱلَّذِىٓ
alladhī
(is) the One Who
أَرْسَلَ
arsala
sends
ٱلرِّيَـٰحَ
l-riyāḥa
the winds
بُشْرًۢا
bush'ran
(as) glad tidings
بَيْنَ
bayna
before
يَدَىْ
yaday
before
رَحْمَتِهِۦ ۚ
raḥmatihi
His Mercy
وَأَنزَلْنَا
wa-anzalnā
and We send down
مِنَ
mina
from
ٱلسَّمَآءِ
l-samāi
the sky
مَآءًۭ
māan
water
طَهُورًۭا
ṭahūran
pure
﴾48﴿
