وَيَقُولُونَ
wayaqūlūna
And they say
ءَامَنَّا
āmannā
We believe
بِٱللَّهِ
bil-lahi
in Allah
وَبِٱلرَّسُولِ
wabil-rasūli
and in the Messenger
وَأَطَعْنَا
wa-aṭaʿnā
and we obey
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
يَتَوَلَّىٰ
yatawallā
turns away
فَرِيقٌۭ
farīqun
a party
مِّنْهُم
min'hum
of them
مِّنۢ
min
after
بَعْدِ
baʿdi
after
ذَٰلِكَ ۚ
dhālika
that
وَمَآ
wamā
And not
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
those
بِٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
bil-mu'minīna
(are) believers
﴾47﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
دُعُوٓا۟
duʿū
they are called
إِلَى
ilā
to
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَرَسُولِهِۦ
warasūlihi
and His Messenger
لِيَحْكُمَ
liyaḥkuma
to judge
بَيْنَهُمْ
baynahum
between them
إِذَا
idhā
behold
فَرِيقٌۭ
farīqun
a party
مِّنْهُم
min'hum
of them
مُّعْرِضُونَ
muʿ'riḍūna
(is) averse
﴾48﴿
وَإِن
wa-in
But if
يَكُن
yakun
is
لَّهُمُ
lahumu
with them
ٱلْحَقُّ
l-ḥaqu
the truth
يَأْتُوٓا۟
yatū
they come
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhi
to him
مُذْعِنِينَ
mudh'ʿinīna
(as) promptly obedient
﴾49﴿
