﴾113﴿
قَـٰلَ
qāla
He will say
إِن
in
Not
لَّبِثْتُمْ
labith'tum
you stayed
إِلَّا
illā
but
قَلِيلًۭا ۖ
qalīlan
a little
لَّوْ
law
if
أَنَّكُمْ
annakum
only you
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
[you]
تَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūna
knew
﴾114﴿
أَفَحَسِبْتُمْ
afaḥasib'tum
Then did you think
أَنَّمَا
annamā
that
خَلَقْنَـٰكُمْ
khalaqnākum
We created you
عَبَثًۭا
ʿabathan
uselessly
وَأَنَّكُمْ
wa-annakum
and that you
إِلَيْنَا
ilaynā
to Us
لَا
lā
not
تُرْجَعُونَ
tur'jaʿūna
will be returned
﴾115﴿
