فَتَعَـٰلَى
fataʿālā
So exalted is
ٱللَّهُ

ٱلْمَلِكُ

ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ
l-ḥaqu
the Truth
لَآ
lā
(There is) no
إِلَـٰهَ
ilāha
god
إِلَّا
illā
except
هُوَ
huwa
Him
رَبُّ
rabbu
(the) Lord
ٱلْعَرْشِ
l-ʿarshi
(of) the Throne
ٱلْكَرِيمِ
l-karīmi
Honorable
﴾116﴿
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يَدْعُ
yadʿu
invokes
مَعَ
maʿa
with
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
إِلَـٰهًا
ilāhan
god
ءَاخَرَ
ākhara
other
لَا
lā
no
بُرْهَـٰنَ
bur'hāna
proof
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
بِهِۦ
bihi
in it
فَإِنَّمَا
fa-innamā
Then only
حِسَابُهُۥ
ḥisābuhu
his account
عِندَ
ʿinda
(is) with
رَبِّهِۦٓ ۚ
rabbihi
his Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, [he]
لَا
lā
not
يُفْلِحُ
yuf'liḥu
will succeed
ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ
l-kāfirūna
the disbelievers
﴾117﴿
وَقُل
waqul
And say
رَّبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
ٱغْفِرْ
igh'fir
Forgive
وَٱرْحَمْ
wa-ir'ḥam
and have mercy
وَأَنتَ
wa-anta
and You
خَيْرُ
khayru
(are the) Best
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
l-rāḥimīna
(of) those who show mercy
﴾118﴿
