وَمَنْ

And whoever

لَهُۥ

مَعِيشَةًۭ

ضَنكًۭا

straitened
وَنَحْشُرُهُۥ
wanaḥshuruhu
and We will gather him
يَوْمَ
yawma
(on the) Day
ٱلْقِيَـٰمَةِ
l-qiyāmati
(of) the Resurrection
أَعْمَىٰ
aʿmā
blind
﴾124﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He will say
رَبِّ
rabbi
My Lord
لِمَ
lima
Why
حَشَرْتَنِىٓ
ḥashartanī
You raised me
أَعْمَىٰ
aʿmā
blind
وَقَدْ
waqad
while [verily]
كُنتُ
kuntu
I had
بَصِيرًۭا
baṣīran
sight
﴾125﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He will say
كَذَٰلِكَ
kadhālika
Thus
أَتَتْكَ
atatka
came to you
ءَايَـٰتُنَا
āyātunā
Our Signs
فَنَسِيتَهَا ۖ
fanasītahā
but you forgot them
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālika
and thus
ٱلْيَوْمَ
l-yawma
today
تُنسَىٰ
tunsā
you will be forgotten
﴾126﴿
وَكَذَٰلِكَ
wakadhālika
And thus
نَجْزِى
najzī
We recompense
مَنْ
man
(he) who
أَسْرَفَ
asrafa
transgresses
وَلَمْ
walam
and not
يُؤْمِنۢ
yu'min
believes
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ
biāyāti
in (the) Signs
رَبِّهِۦ ۚ
rabbihi
(of) his Lord
وَلَعَذَابُ
walaʿadhābu
And surely (the) punishment
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhirati
(of) the Hereafter
أَشَدُّ
ashaddu
(is) more severe
وَأَبْقَىٰٓ
wa-abqā
and more lasting
﴾127﴿
