yourself
عَلَىٰٓ
ʿalā
over
ءَاثَـٰرِهِمْ
āthārihim
their footsteps
إِن
in
if
لَّمْ
lam
not
يُؤْمِنُوا۟
yu'minū
they believe
بِهَـٰذَا
bihādhā
in this
ٱلْحَدِيثِ
l-ḥadīthi
[the] narration
أَسَفًا
asafan
(in) grief
﴾6﴿
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, We
جَعَلْنَا
jaʿalnā
We have made
مَا
mā
what
عَلَى
ʿalā
(is) on
ٱلْأَرْضِ
l-arḍi
the earth
زِينَةًۭ
zīnatan
adornment
لَّهَا
lahā
for it
لِنَبْلُوَهُمْ
linabluwahum
that We may test [them]
أَيُّهُمْ
ayyuhum
which of them
أَحْسَنُ
aḥsanu
(is) best
عَمَلًۭا
ʿamalan
(in) deed
﴾7﴿
وَإِنَّا
wa-innā
And indeed, We
لَجَـٰعِلُونَ
lajāʿilūna
(will) surely make
مَا
mā
what
عَلَيْهَا
ʿalayhā
(is) on it
صَعِيدًۭا
ṣaʿīdan
soil
جُرُزًا
juruzan
barren
﴾8﴿
