وَأَقْسَمُوا۟
wa-aqsamū
And they swear
بِٱللَّهِ

ḥaqqan
(in) truth
وَلَـٰكِنَّ
walākinna
but
أَكْثَرَ
akthara
most
ٱلنَّاسِ
l-nāsi
(of) the mankind
لَا
lā
(do) not
يَعْلَمُونَ
yaʿlamūna
know
﴾38﴿
لِيُبَيِّنَ
liyubayyina
That He will make clear
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
that
يَخْتَلِفُونَ
yakhtalifūna
they differ
فِيهِ
fīhi
wherein
وَلِيَعْلَمَ
waliyaʿlama
and that may know
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
that they
كَانُوا۟
kānū
were
كَـٰذِبِينَ
kādhibīna
liars
﴾39﴿
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
قَوْلُنَا
qawlunā
Our Word
لِشَىْءٍ
lishayin
to a thing
إِذَآ
idhā
when
أَرَدْنَـٰهُ
aradnāhu
We intend it
أَن
an
(is) that
نَّقُولَ
naqūla
We say
لَهُۥ
lahu
to it
كُن
kun
Be
فَيَكُونُ
fayakūnu
and it is
﴾40﴿
