muṭ'ma-innun
(is) content
بِٱلْإِيمَـٰنِ
bil-īmāni
with the faith
وَلَـٰكِن
walākin
But
مَّن
man
(one) who
شَرَحَ
sharaḥa
opens
بِٱلْكُفْرِ
bil-kuf'ri
to disbelief
صَدْرًۭا
ṣadran
(his) breast
فَعَلَيْهِمْ
faʿalayhim
then upon them
غَضَبٌۭ
ghaḍabun
(is) a wrath
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
عَظِيمٌۭ
ʿaẓīmun
great
﴾106﴿
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That (is)
بِأَنَّهُمُ
bi-annahumu
because
ٱسْتَحَبُّوا۟
is'taḥabbū
they preferred
ٱلْحَيَوٰةَ
l-ḥayata
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā
(of) the world
عَلَى
ʿalā
over
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
and that
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
لَا
lā
(does) not
يَهْدِى
yahdī
guide
ٱلْقَوْمَ
l-qawma
the people
ٱلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
l-kāfirīna
the disbelievers
﴾107﴿
