وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
جَآءَهُمْ
jāahum
came to them
رَسُولٌۭ
rasūlun
a Messenger
مِّنْهُمْ
min'hum
from among them
فَكَذَّبُوهُ
fakadhabūhu
but they denied him
فَأَخَذَهُمُ
fa-akhadhahumu
so seized them
ٱلْعَذَابُ
l-ʿadhābu
the punishment
وَهُمْ
wahum
while they
ظَـٰلِمُونَ
ẓālimūna
(were) wrongdoers
﴾113﴿
فَكُلُوا۟
fakulū
So eat
مِمَّا
mimmā
of what
رَزَقَكُمُ
razaqakumu
Allah has provided you
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah has provided you
حَلَـٰلًۭا
ḥalālan
lawful
طَيِّبًۭا
ṭayyiban
and good
وَٱشْكُرُوا۟
wa-ush'kurū
And be grateful
نِعْمَتَ
niʿ'mata
(for the) Favor
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
[you]
إِيَّاهُ
iyyāhu
Him Alone
تَعْبُدُونَ
taʿbudūna
you worship
﴾114﴿
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
حَرَّمَ
ḥarrama
He has forbidden
عَلَيْكُمُ
ʿalaykumu
to you
ٱلْمَيْتَةَ
l-maytata
the dead animal
وَٱلدَّمَ
wal-dama
and the blood
وَلَحْمَ
walaḥma
and the flesh
ٱلْخِنزِيرِ
l-khinzīri
(of) the swine
وَمَآ
wamā
and what
أُهِلَّ
uhilla
has been dedicated
لِغَيْرِ
lighayri
to other (than)
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
بِهِۦ ۖ
bihi
[with it]
فَمَنِ
famani
But (if) one
ٱضْطُرَّ
uḍ'ṭurra
(is) forced
غَيْرَ
ghayra
without (being)
بَاغٍۢ
bāghin
disobedient
وَلَا
walā
and not
عَادٍۢ
ʿādin
a transgressor
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
غَفُورٌۭ
ghafūrun
(is) Oft-Forgiving
رَّحِيمٌۭ
raḥīmun
Most Merciful
﴾115﴿
