ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ٱلْكَذِبَ ۚ
l-kadhiba
the lie
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
يَفْتَرُونَ
yaftarūna
invent
عَلَى
ʿalā
about
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ٱلْكَذِبَ
l-kadhiba
the lie
لَا
lā
they will not succeed
يُفْلِحُونَ
yuf'liḥūna
they will not succeed
﴾116﴿
مَتَـٰعٌۭ
matāʿun
An enjoyment
قَلِيلٌۭ
qalīlun
little
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
(is) a punishment
أَلِيمٌۭ
alīmun
painful
﴾117﴿
وَعَلَى
waʿalā
And to
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
هَادُوا۟
hādū
are Jews
حَرَّمْنَا
ḥarramnā
We have forbidden
مَا
mā
what
قَصَصْنَا
qaṣaṣnā
We related
عَلَيْكَ
ʿalayka
to you
مِن
min
before
قَبْلُ ۖ
qablu
before
وَمَا
wamā
And not
ظَلَمْنَـٰهُمْ
ẓalamnāhum
We wronged them
وَلَـٰكِن
walākin
but
كَانُوٓا۟
kānū
they used (to)
أَنفُسَهُمْ
anfusahum
themselves
يَظْلِمُونَ
yaẓlimūna
wrong
﴾118﴿
