And the jinn
خَلَقْنَـٰهُ

We created it

before
قَبْلُ
qablu
before
مِن

from
نَّارِ
nāri
fire
ٱلسَّمُومِ
l-samūmi
scorching
﴾27﴿
وَإِذْ
wa-idh
And when
قَالَ
qāla
your Lord said
رَبُّكَ
rabbuka
your Lord said
لِلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ
lil'malāikati
to the Angels
إِنِّى
innī
Indeed, I
خَـٰلِقٌۢ
khāliqun
(will) create
بَشَرًۭا
basharan
a human being
مِّن
min
(out) of
صَلْصَـٰلٍۢ
ṣalṣālin
clay
مِّنْ
min
from
حَمَإٍۢ
ḥama-in
black mud
مَّسْنُونٍۢ
masnūnin
altered
﴾28﴿
فَإِذَا
fa-idhā
So, when
سَوَّيْتُهُۥ
sawwaytuhu
I have fashioned him
وَنَفَخْتُ
wanafakhtu
and [I] breathed
فِيهِ
fīhi
into him
مِن
min
of
رُّوحِى
rūḥī
My spirit
فَقَعُوا۟
faqaʿū
then fall down
لَهُۥ
lahu
to him
سَـٰجِدِينَ
sājidīna
prostrating
﴾29﴿
