فَلَمَّا

يَـٰٓأَبَانَا

O our father
مُنِعَ

Has been denied
مِنَّا
minnā
to us
ٱلْكَيْلُ
l-kaylu
the measure
فَأَرْسِلْ
fa-arsil
so send
مَعَنَآ
maʿanā
with us
أَخَانَا
akhānā
our brother
نَكْتَلْ
naktal
(that) we will get measure
وَإِنَّا
wa-innā
And indeed, we
لَهُۥ
lahu
for him
لَحَـٰفِظُونَ
laḥāfiẓūna
(will) surely (be) guardians
﴾63﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He said
هَلْ
hal
Should
ءَامَنُكُمْ
āmanukum
I entrust you
عَلَيْهِ
ʿalayhi
with him
إِلَّا
illā
except
كَمَآ
kamā
as
أَمِنتُكُمْ
amintukum
I entrusted you
عَلَىٰٓ
ʿalā
with
أَخِيهِ
akhīhi
his brother
مِن
min
before
قَبْلُ ۖ
qablu
before
فَٱللَّهُ
fal-lahu
But Allah
خَيْرٌ
khayrun
(is) the best
حَـٰفِظًۭا ۖ
ḥāfiẓan
Guardian
وَهُوَ
wahuwa
and He
أَرْحَمُ
arḥamu
(is the) Most Merciful
ٱلرَّٰحِمِينَ
l-rāḥimīna
(of) the merciful
﴾64﴿
