لَكَ
laka
you have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلْمٌ ۖ
ʿil'mun
any knowledge
إِنِّىٓ
innī
Indeed, I
أَعِظُكَ
aʿiẓuka
admonish you
أَن
an
lest
تَكُونَ
takūna
you be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلْجَـٰهِلِينَ
l-jāhilīna
the ignorant
﴾46﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He said
رَبِّ
rabbi
O my Lord
إِنِّىٓ
innī
Indeed, I
أَعُوذُ
aʿūdhu
seek refuge
بِكَ
bika
in You
أَنْ
an
that
أَسْـَٔلَكَ
asalaka
I (should) ask You
مَا
mā
what
لَيْسَ
laysa
not
لِى
lī
I have
بِهِۦ
bihi
of it
عِلْمٌۭ ۖ
ʿil'mun
knowledge
وَإِلَّا
wa-illā
And unless
تَغْفِرْ
taghfir
You forgive
لِى
lī
me
وَتَرْحَمْنِىٓ
watarḥamnī
and You have mercy on me
أَكُن
akun
I will be
مِّنَ
mina
among
ٱلْخَـٰسِرِينَ
l-khāsirīna
the losers
﴾47﴿
