إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
إِبْرَٰهِيمَ
ib'rāhīma
Ibrahim
لَحَلِيمٌ
laḥalīmun
(was) certainly forbearing
أَوَّٰهٌۭ
awwāhun
imploring
مُّنِيبٌۭ
munībun
and oft-returning
75﴿
يَـٰٓإِبْرَٰهِيمُ
yāib'rāhīmu
O Ibrahim
أَعْرِضْ
aʿriḍ
Turn away
عَنْ
ʿan
from
هَـٰذَآ ۖ
hādhā
this
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, it
قَدْ
qad
certainly
جَآءَ
jāa
has come
أَمْرُ
amru
(the) Command
رَبِّكَ ۖ
rabbika
(of) your Lord
وَإِنَّهُمْ
wa-innahum
and indeed, [they]
ءَاتِيهِمْ
ātīhim
(will) come (for) them
عَذَابٌ
ʿadhābun
a punishment
غَيْرُ
ghayru
(which) cannot
مَرْدُودٍۢ
mardūdin
(be) repelled
76﴿
وَلَمَّا
walammā
And when
جَآءَتْ
jāat
came
رُسُلُنَا
rusulunā
Our messengers
لُوطًۭا
lūṭan
(to) Lut
سِىٓءَ
sīa
he was distressed
بِهِمْ
bihim
for them
وَضَاقَ
waḍāqa
and felt straitened
بِهِمْ
bihim
for them
ذَرْعًۭا
dharʿan
(and) uneasy
وَقَالَ
waqāla
and said
هَـٰذَا
hādhā
This
يَوْمٌ
yawmun
(is) a day
عَصِيبٌۭ
ʿaṣībun
distressful
77﴿
