before it
قَبْلِهِۦٓ ۚ
qablihi
before it
أَفَلَا
afalā
Then will not
تَعْقِلُونَ
taʿqilūna
you use reason
﴾16﴿
فَمَنْ
faman
So who
أَظْلَمُ
aẓlamu
(is) more wrong
مِمَّنِ
mimmani
than he who
ٱفْتَرَىٰ
if'tarā
invents
عَلَى
ʿalā
against
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
كَذِبًا
kadhiban
a lie
أَوْ
aw
or
كَذَّبَ
kadhaba
denies
بِـَٔايَـٰتِهِۦٓ ۚ
biāyātihi
His Signs
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed
لَا
lā
not
يُفْلِحُ
yuf'liḥu
will succeed
ٱلْمُجْرِمُونَ
l-muj'rimūna
the criminals
﴾17﴿
