وَقَعَ
waqaʿa
(it had) occurred
ءَامَنتُم
āmantum
you (will) believe
بِهِۦٓ ۚ
bihi
in it
ءَآلْـَٔـٰنَ
āl'āna
Now
وَقَدْ
waqad
And certainly
كُنتُم
kuntum
you were
بِهِۦ
bihi
seeking to hasten it
تَسْتَعْجِلُونَ
tastaʿjilūna
seeking to hasten it
﴾51﴿
ثُمَّ
thumma
Then
قِيلَ
qīla
it will be said
لِلَّذِينَ
lilladhīna
to those who
ظَلَمُوا۟
ẓalamū
wronged
ذُوقُوا۟
dhūqū
Taste
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
punishment
ٱلْخُلْدِ
l-khul'di
the everlasting
هَلْ
hal
Are you (being) recompensed
تُجْزَوْنَ
tuj'zawna
Are you (being) recompensed
إِلَّا
illā
except
بِمَا
bimā
for what
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you used (to)
تَكْسِبُونَ
taksibūna
earn
﴾52﴿
وَيَسْتَنۢبِـُٔونَكَ
wayastanbiūnaka
And they ask you to inform
أَحَقٌّ
aḥaqqun
Is it true
هُوَ ۖ
huwa
Is it true
قُلْ
qul
Say
إِى
ī
Yes
وَرَبِّىٓ
warabbī
by my Lord
إِنَّهُۥ
innahu
Indeed, it
لَحَقٌّۭ ۖ
laḥaqqun
(is) surely the truth
وَمَآ
wamā
and not
أَنتُم
antum
you
بِمُعْجِزِينَ
bimuʿ'jizīna
(can) escape (it)
﴾53﴿
