ٱلصَّلَوٰةَ
l-ṣalata
(to) the prayer
إِلَّا
illā
except
وَهُمْ
wahum
while they
كُسَالَىٰ
kusālā
(are) lazy
وَلَا
walā
and not
يُنفِقُونَ
yunfiqūna
they spend
إِلَّا
illā
except
وَهُمْ
wahum
while they
كَـٰرِهُونَ
kārihūna
(are) unwilling
﴾54﴿
فَلَا
falā
So (let) not
تُعْجِبْكَ
tuʿ'jib'ka
impress you
أَمْوَٰلُهُمْ
amwāluhum
their wealth
وَلَآ
walā
and not
أَوْلَـٰدُهُمْ ۚ
awlāduhum
their children
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
يُرِيدُ
yurīdu
Allah intends
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah intends
لِيُعَذِّبَهُم
liyuʿadhibahum
to punish them
بِهَا
bihā
with it
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْحَيَوٰةِ
l-ḥayati
the life
ٱلدُّنْيَا
l-dun'yā
(of) the world
وَتَزْهَقَ
watazhaqa
and should depart
أَنفُسُهُمْ
anfusuhum
their souls
وَهُمْ
wahum
while they
كَـٰفِرُونَ
kāfirūna
(are) disbelievers
﴾55﴿
