(the) hearts
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
(of) those who
كَفَرُوا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
ٱلرُّعْبَ
l-ruʿ'ba
the terror
فَٱضْرِبُوا۟
fa-iḍ'ribū
so strike
فَوْقَ
fawqa
above
ٱلْأَعْنَاقِ
l-aʿnāqi
the necks
وَٱضْرِبُوا۟
wa-iḍ'ribū
and strike
مِنْهُمْ
min'hum
from them
كُلَّ
kulla
every
بَنَانٍۢ
banānin
fingertip[s]
﴾12﴿
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
بِأَنَّهُمْ
bi-annahum
(is) because they
شَآقُّوا۟
shāqqū
opposed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۚ
warasūlahu
and His Messenger
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُشَاقِقِ
yushāqiqi
opposes
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ
warasūlahu
and His Messenger
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu
(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi
in [the] penalty
﴾13﴿
ذَٰلِكُمْ
dhālikum
That
فَذُوقُوهُ
fadhūqūhu
So taste it
وَأَنَّ
wa-anna
And that
لِلْكَـٰفِرِينَ
lil'kāfirīna
for the disbelievers
عَذَابَ
ʿadhāba
(is the) punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri
(of) the Fire
﴾14﴿
