يَـٰمُوسَىٰٓ

O Musa
إِمَّآ

Whether
أَن

تُلْقِىَ
tul'qiya
you throw
وَإِمَّآ
wa-immā
or Whether
أَن
an
[that]
نَّكُونَ
nakūna
we will be
نَحْنُ
naḥnu
[we]
ٱلْمُلْقِينَ
l-mul'qīna
the ones to throw
﴾115﴿
قَالَ
qāla
He said
أَلْقُوا۟ ۖ
alqū
Throw
فَلَمَّآ
falammā
Then when
أَلْقَوْا۟
alqaw
they threw
سَحَرُوٓا۟
saḥarū
they bewitched
أَعْيُنَ
aʿyuna
(the) eyes
ٱلنَّاسِ
l-nāsi
(of) the people
وَٱسْتَرْهَبُوهُمْ
wa-is'tarhabūhum
and terrified them
وَجَآءُو
wajāū
and came (up)
بِسِحْرٍ
bisiḥ'rin
with a magic
عَظِيمٍۢ
ʿaẓīmin
great
﴾116﴿
وَأَوْحَيْنَآ
wa-awḥaynā
And We inspired
إِلَىٰ
ilā
to
مُوسَىٰٓ
mūsā
Musa
أَنْ
an
that
أَلْقِ
alqi
Throw
عَصَاكَ ۖ
ʿaṣāka
your staff
فَإِذَا
fa-idhā
and suddenly
هِىَ
hiya
it
تَلْقَفُ
talqafu
swallow(ed)
مَا
mā
what
يَأْفِكُونَ
yafikūna
they (were) falsifying
﴾117﴿
