يَشْعُرُونَ

﴾26﴿
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
تَرَىٰٓ
tarā
you (could) see
إِذْ
idh
when
وُقِفُوا۟
wuqifū
they are made to stand
عَلَى
ʿalā
by
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri
the Fire
فَقَالُوا۟
faqālū
then they (will) say
يَـٰلَيْتَنَا
yālaytanā
Oh! Would that we
نُرَدُّ
nuraddu
were sent back
وَلَا
walā
and not
نُكَذِّبَ
nukadhiba
we would deny
بِـَٔايَـٰتِ
biāyāti
(the) Signs
رَبِّنَا
rabbinā
(of) our Lord
وَنَكُونَ
wanakūna
and we would be
مِنَ
mina
among
ٱلْمُؤْمِنِينَ
l-mu'minīna
the believers
﴾27﴿
بَلْ
bal
Nay
بَدَا
badā
became manifest
لَهُم
lahum
for them
مَّا
mā
what
كَانُوا۟
kānū
they used to
يُخْفُونَ
yukh'fūna
conceal
مِن
min
from
قَبْلُ ۖ
qablu
before
وَلَوْ
walaw
And if
رُدُّوا۟
ruddū
they were sent back
لَعَادُوا۟
laʿādū
certainly they (would) return
لِمَا
limā
to what
نُهُوا۟
nuhū
they were forbidden
عَنْهُ
ʿanhu
from it
وَإِنَّهُمْ
wa-innahum
and indeed they
لَكَـٰذِبُونَ
lakādhibūna
certainly are liars
﴾28﴿
