وَٱلَّذِينَ
wa-alladhīna
And those who
كَذَّبُوا۟

بِـَٔايَـٰتِنَا

(are) deaf
وَبُكْمٌۭ
wabuk'mun
and dumb
فِى

in
ٱلظُّلُمَـٰتِ ۗ
l-ẓulumāti
the darkness[es]
مَن
man
Whoever
يَشَإِ
yasha-i
wills
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
يُضْلِلْهُ
yuḍ'lil'hu
He lets him go astray
وَمَن
waman
and whoever
يَشَأْ
yasha
He wills
يَجْعَلْهُ
yajʿalhu
He places him
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
on
صِرَٰطٍۢ
ṣirāṭin
(the) way
مُّسْتَقِيمٍۢ
mus'taqīmin
(the) straight
﴾39﴿
قُلْ
qul
Say
أَرَءَيْتَكُمْ
ara-aytakum
Have you seen
إِنْ
in
if
أَتَىٰكُمْ
atākum
(there) came to you
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu
punishment
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
أَوْ
aw
or
أَتَتْكُمُ
atatkumu
(there) came to you
ٱلسَّاعَةُ
l-sāʿatu
the Hour
أَغَيْرَ
aghayra
is it other
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(than) Allah
تَدْعُونَ
tadʿūna
you call
إِن
in
if
كُنتُمْ
kuntum
you are
صَـٰدِقِينَ
ṣādiqīna
truthful
﴾40﴿
بَلْ
bal
Nay
إِيَّاهُ
iyyāhu
Him Alone
تَدْعُونَ
tadʿūna
you call
فَيَكْشِفُ
fayakshifu
and He would remove
مَا
mā
what
تَدْعُونَ
tadʿūna
you call
إِلَيْهِ
ilayhi
upon Him
إِن
in
if
شَآءَ
shāa
He wills
وَتَنسَوْنَ
watansawna
and you will forget
مَا
mā
what
تُشْرِكُونَ
tush'rikūna
you associate (with Him)
﴾41﴿
