وَلَوْ

your homes
مَّا

فَعَلُوهُ
faʿalūhu
they would have done it
إِلَّا
illā
except
قَلِيلٌۭ
qalīlun
a few
مِّنْهُمْ ۖ
min'hum
of them
وَلَوْ
walaw
But if
أَنَّهُمْ
annahum
[that] they
فَعَلُوا۟
faʿalū
had done
مَا
mā
what
يُوعَظُونَ
yūʿaẓūna
they were advised
بِهِۦ
bihi
with [it]
لَكَانَ
lakāna
surely (it) would have been
خَيْرًۭا
khayran
better
لَّهُمْ
lahum
for them
وَأَشَدَّ
wa-ashadda
and stronger
تَثْبِيتًۭا
tathbītan
strengthen(ing)
﴾66﴿
وَإِذًۭا
wa-idhan
And then
لَّـَٔاتَيْنَـٰهُم
laātaynāhum
We would (have) given them
مِّن
min
from
لَّدُنَّآ
ladunnā
Ourselves
أَجْرًا
ajran
a reward
عَظِيمًۭا
ʿaẓīman
great
﴾67﴿
وَلَهَدَيْنَـٰهُمْ
walahadaynāhum
And We would have guided them
صِرَٰطًۭا
ṣirāṭan
(to the) way
مُّسْتَقِيمًۭا
mus'taqīman
(the) straight
﴾68﴿
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُطِعِ
yuṭiʿi
obeys
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَٱلرَّسُولَ
wal-rasūla
and the Messenger
فَأُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
fa-ulāika
then those
مَعَ
maʿa
(will be) with
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those whom
أَنْعَمَ
anʿama
has bestowed (His) Favor
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
عَلَيْهِم
ʿalayhim
upon them
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلنَّبِيِّـۧنَ
l-nabiyīna
the Prophets
وَٱلصِّدِّيقِينَ
wal-ṣidīqīna
and the truthful
وَٱلشُّهَدَآءِ
wal-shuhadāi
and the martyrs
وَٱلصَّـٰلِحِينَ ۚ
wal-ṣāliḥīna
and the righteous
وَحَسُنَ
waḥasuna
And excellent
أُو۟لَـٰٓئِكَ
ulāika
(are) those
رَفِيقًۭا
rafīqan
companion(s)
﴾69﴿
