thousand[s]
مِّنَ
mina
[of]
ٱلْمَلَـٰٓئِكَةِ
l-malāikati
[the] Angels
مُسَوِّمِينَ
musawwimīna
[the ones] having marks
﴾125﴿
وَمَا
wamā
And not
جَعَلَهُ
jaʿalahu
made it
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
إِلَّا
illā
except
بُشْرَىٰ
bush'rā
(as) good news
لَكُمْ
lakum
for you
وَلِتَطْمَئِنَّ
walitaṭma-inna
and to reassure
قُلُوبُكُم
qulūbukum
your hearts
بِهِۦ ۗ
bihi
with it
وَمَا
wamā
And (there is) no
ٱلنَّصْرُ
l-naṣru
[the] victory
إِلَّا
illā
except
مِنْ
min
from
عِندِ
ʿindi
[near]
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
Allah
ٱلْعَزِيزِ
l-ʿazīzi
the All-Mighty
ٱلْحَكِيمِ
l-ḥakīmi
the All-Wise
﴾126﴿
لِيَقْطَعَ
liyaqṭaʿa
That He may cut off
طَرَفًۭا
ṭarafan
a part
مِّنَ
mina
of
ٱلَّذِينَ
alladhīna
those who
كَفَرُوٓا۟
kafarū
disbelieved
أَوْ
aw
or
يَكْبِتَهُمْ
yakbitahum
suppress them
فَيَنقَلِبُوا۟
fayanqalibū
so (that) they turn back
خَآئِبِينَ
khāibīna
disappointed
﴾127﴿
