ضَلَّ
ḍalla
he went astray (from)
سَوَآءَ
sawāa
(the) evenness
ٱلسَّبِيلِ
l-sabīli
(of) the way
﴾108﴿
وَدَّ
wadda
Wish[ed]
كَثِيرٌۭ
kathīrun
many
مِّنْ
min
from
أَهْلِ
ahli
(the) People
ٱلْكِتَـٰبِ
l-kitābi
(of) the Book
لَوْ
law
if
يَرُدُّونَكُم
yaruddūnakum
they could turn you back
مِّنۢ
min
from
بَعْدِ
baʿdi
after
إِيمَـٰنِكُمْ
īmānikum
your (having) faith
كُفَّارًا
kuffāran
(to) disbelievers
حَسَدًۭا
ḥasadan
(out of) jealousy
مِّنْ
min
from
عِندِ
ʿindi
(of)
أَنفُسِهِم
anfusihim
themselves
مِّنۢ
min
(even) from
بَعْدِ
baʿdi
after
مَا
mā
[what]
تَبَيَّنَ
tabayyana
became clear
لَهُمُ
lahumu
to them
ٱلْحَقُّ ۖ
l-ḥaqu
the truth
فَٱعْفُوا۟
fa-iʿ'fū
So forgive
وَٱصْفَحُوا۟
wa-iṣ'faḥū
and overlook
حَتَّىٰ
ḥattā
until
يَأْتِىَ
yatiya
brings
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
بِأَمْرِهِۦٓ ۗ
bi-amrihi
His Command
إِنَّ
inna
Indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
on
كُلِّ
kulli
every
شَىْءٍۢ
shayin
thing
قَدِيرٌۭ
qadīrun
(is) All-Powerful
﴾109﴿
