إِذَا

ٱلسَّمَآءُ

And when
ٱلْكَوَاكِبُ
l-kawākibu
the stars
ٱنتَثَرَتْ
intatharat
scatter
﴾2﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْبِحَارُ
l-biḥāru
the seas
فُجِّرَتْ
fujjirat
are made to gush forth
﴾3﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْقُبُورُ
l-qubūru
the graves
بُعْثِرَتْ
buʿ'thirat
are overturned
﴾4﴿
عَلِمَتْ
ʿalimat
Will know
نَفْسٌۭ
nafsun
a soul
مَّا
mā
what
قَدَّمَتْ
qaddamat
it has sent forth
وَأَخَّرَتْ
wa-akharat
and left behind
﴾5﴿
يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا
yāayyuhā
O
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
l-insānu
man
مَا
mā
What
غَرَّكَ
gharraka
has deceived you
بِرَبِّكَ
birabbika
concerning your Lord
ٱلْكَرِيمِ
l-karīmi
the Most Noble
﴾6﴿
ٱلَّذِى
alladhī
Who
خَلَقَكَ
khalaqaka
created you
فَسَوَّىٰكَ
fasawwāka
then fashioned you
فَعَدَلَكَ
faʿadalaka
then balanced you
﴾7﴿
