the full-term she-camels
عُطِّلَتْ
ʿuṭṭilat
(are) left untended
﴾4﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْوُحُوشُ
l-wuḥūshu
the wild beasts
حُشِرَتْ
ḥushirat
are gathered
﴾5﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْبِحَارُ
l-biḥāru
the seas
سُجِّرَتْ
sujjirat
are made to overflow
﴾6﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلنُّفُوسُ
l-nufūsu
the souls
زُوِّجَتْ
zuwwijat
are paired
﴾7﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْمَوْءُۥدَةُ
l-mawūdatu
the female infant buried alive
سُئِلَتْ
su-ilat
is asked
﴾8﴿
بِأَىِّ
bi-ayyi
For what
ذَنۢبٍۢ
dhanbin
sin
قُتِلَتْ
qutilat
she was killed
﴾9﴿
