ٱلْجَحِيمُ
l-jaḥīmu
the Hellfire
سُعِّرَتْ
suʿʿirat
is set ablaze
﴾12﴿
وَإِذَا
wa-idhā
And when
ٱلْجَنَّةُ
l-janatu
Paradise
أُزْلِفَتْ
uz'lifat
is brought near
﴾13﴿
عَلِمَتْ
ʿalimat
Will know
نَفْسٌۭ
nafsun
a soul
مَّآ
mā
what
أَحْضَرَتْ
aḥḍarat
it has brought
﴾14﴿
فَلَآ
falā
But nay
أُقْسِمُ
uq'simu
I swear
بِٱلْخُنَّسِ
bil-khunasi
by the retreating planets
﴾15﴿
ٱلْجَوَارِ
al-jawāri
Those that run
ٱلْكُنَّسِ
l-kunasi
(and) disappear
﴾16﴿
وَٱلَّيْلِ
wa-al-layli
And the night
إِذَا
idhā
when
عَسْعَسَ
ʿasʿasa
it departs
﴾17﴿
