وَيُطْعِمُونَ

And they feed
ٱلطَّعَامَ

عَلَىٰ

مِسْكِينًۭا
mis'kīnan
(to the) needy
وَيَتِيمًۭا

and (the) orphan
وَأَسِيرًا
wa-asīran
and (the) captive
﴾8﴿
إِنَّمَا
innamā
Only
نُطْعِمُكُمْ
nuṭ'ʿimukum
we feed you
لِوَجْهِ
liwajhi
for (the) Countenance
ٱللَّهِ
l-lahi
(of) Allah
لَا
lā
Not
نُرِيدُ
nurīdu
we desire
مِنكُمْ
minkum
from you
جَزَآءًۭ
jazāan
any reward
وَلَا
walā
and not
شُكُورًا
shukūran
thanks
﴾9﴿
إِنَّا
innā
Indeed, we
نَخَافُ
nakhāfu
fear
مِن
min
from
رَّبِّنَا
rabbinā
our Lord
يَوْمًا
yawman
a Day
عَبُوسًۭا
ʿabūsan
harsh
قَمْطَرِيرًۭا
qamṭarīran
and distressful
﴾10﴿
فَوَقَىٰهُمُ
fawaqāhumu
But will protect them
ٱللَّهُ
l-lahu
Allah
شَرَّ
sharra
(from the) evil
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
(of) that
ٱلْيَوْمِ
l-yawmi
Day
وَلَقَّىٰهُمْ
walaqqāhum
and will cause them to meet
نَضْرَةًۭ
naḍratan
radiance
وَسُرُورًۭا
wasurūran
and happiness
﴾11﴿
