وَخَسَفَ

ٱلْقَمَرُ

وَجُمِعَ

And are joined
ٱلشَّمْسُ
l-shamsu
the sun
وَٱلْقَمَرُ
wal-qamaru
and the moon
﴾9﴿
يَقُولُ
yaqūlu
Will say
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
l-insānu
[the] man
يَوْمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day
أَيْنَ
ayna
Where
ٱلْمَفَرُّ
l-mafaru
(is) the escape
﴾10﴿
كَلَّا
kallā
By no means
لَا
lā
(There is) no
وَزَرَ
wazara
refuge
﴾11﴿
إِلَىٰ
ilā
To
رَبِّكَ
rabbika
your Lord
يَوْمَئِذٍ
yawma-idhin
that Day
ٱلْمُسْتَقَرُّ
l-mus'taqaru
(is) the place of rest
﴾12﴿
يُنَبَّؤُا۟
yunabba-u
Will be informed
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
l-insānu
[the] man
يَوْمَئِذٍۭ
yawma-idhin
that Day
بِمَا
bimā
of what
قَدَّمَ
qaddama
he sent forth
وَأَخَّرَ
wa-akhara
and kept back
﴾13﴿
بَلِ
bali
Nay
ٱلْإِنسَـٰنُ
l-insānu
[The] man
عَلَىٰ
ʿalā
against
نَفْسِهِۦ
nafsihi
himself
بَصِيرَةٌۭ
baṣīratun
(will be) a witness
﴾14﴿
وَلَوْ
walaw
Even if
أَلْقَىٰ
alqā
he presents
مَعَاذِيرَهُۥ
maʿādhīrahu
his excuses
﴾15﴿
