the exile
لَعَذَّبَهُمْ

certainly He (would) have punished them
فِى

ٱلدُّنْيَا ۖ
l-dun'yā
the world
وَلَهُمْ
walahum
and for them
فِى
fī
in
ٱلْـَٔاخِرَةِ
l-ākhirati
the Hereafter
عَذَابُ
ʿadhābu
(is) a punishment
ٱلنَّارِ
l-nāri
(of) the Fire
﴾3﴿
ذَٰلِكَ
dhālika
That
بِأَنَّهُمْ
bi-annahum
(is) because [they]
شَآقُّوا۟
shāqqū
they opposed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
وَرَسُولَهُۥ ۖ
warasūlahu
and His Messenger
وَمَن
waman
And whoever
يُشَآقِّ
yushāqqi
opposes
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
فَإِنَّ
fa-inna
then indeed
ٱللَّهَ
l-laha
Allah
شَدِيدُ
shadīdu
(is) severe
ٱلْعِقَابِ
l-ʿiqābi
(in) penalty
﴾4﴿
