﴾59﴿
نَحْنُ
naḥnu
We
قَدَّرْنَا
qaddarnā
[We] have decreed
بَيْنَكُمُ
baynakumu
among you
ٱلْمَوْتَ
l-mawta
the death
وَمَا
wamā
and not
نَحْنُ
naḥnu
We
بِمَسْبُوقِينَ
bimasbūqīna
(are) outrun
﴾60﴿
عَلَىٰٓ
ʿalā
In
أَن
an
that
نُّبَدِّلَ
nubaddila
We (will) change
أَمْثَـٰلَكُمْ
amthālakum
your likeness[es]
وَنُنشِئَكُمْ
wanunshi-akum
and produce you
فِى
fī
in
مَا
mā
what
لَا
lā
not
تَعْلَمُونَ
taʿlamūna
you know
﴾61﴿
وَلَقَدْ
walaqad
And certainly
عَلِمْتُمُ
ʿalim'tumu
you know
ٱلنَّشْأَةَ
l-nashata
the creation
ٱلْأُولَىٰ
l-ūlā
the first
فَلَوْلَا
falawlā
so why not
تَذَكَّرُونَ
tadhakkarūna
you take heed
﴾62﴿
أَفَرَءَيْتُم
afara-aytum
And do you see
مَّا
mā
what
تَحْرُثُونَ
taḥruthūna
you sow
﴾63﴿
ءَأَنتُمْ
a-antum
Is it you (who)
تَزْرَعُونَهُۥٓ
tazraʿūnahu
cause it to grow
أَمْ
am
or
نَحْنُ
naḥnu
(are) We
ٱلزَّٰرِعُونَ
l-zāriʿūna
the Ones Who grow
﴾64﴿
لَوْ
law
If
نَشَآءُ
nashāu
We willed
لَجَعَلْنَـٰهُ
lajaʿalnāhu
We (would) surely, make it
حُطَـٰمًۭا
ḥuṭāman
debris
فَظَلْتُمْ
faẓaltum
then you would remain
تَفَكَّهُونَ
tafakkahūna
wondering
﴾65﴿
